10. Geogrid Wall System
Geogrid is a geosynthetic material, made of polymers, which is used to reinforce soil behind retaining walls. Installed in horizontal layers between wall courses and extending into the soil behind a wall, geogrid stabilizes the soil and so increases a wall system's mass and stability.
A geogrid is geosynthetic material used to reinforce soils and similar materials. Soils pull apart under tension. Compared to soil, geogrids are strong in tension. This fact allows them to transfer forces to a larger area of soil than would otherwise be the case.
application:
- They reduce the depth of excavation required on unsuitable subgrades.
- Geogrids also provide enhanced safety and greater seismic durability by stabilizing slopes and increasing soil strength.
- By reducing the differential settlement of roadways, geogrids reduce the need for maintenance and extend the life of paved roads.
11. HDPE Pipe Butt-Fusion Welding Machine
Normally, HDPE pipe is supplied in bars of 6.0m or 12.0m. To connect the pipes together or connect the pipes & fittings, HDPE pipe welding machine is a necessary tools.
HDPE pipe welding machine, also called HDPE pipe fusion machine, HDPE polypipe butt fusion machine or HDPE pipe welding equipment, is a kind of heat-fusion machine, which is designed for HDPE pipe. By fusion the surface of pipe ends (or fittings ends) to make the molecular structure
recombined, so the HDPE pipes (or HDPE pipe fittings) connected together.
12. HDPE Pipe Electrofusion Welding Machine
HDPE Electrofusion is a method of joining PE, HDPE and other plastic pipes using special fittings that have built-in electric heating elements which are used to weld the joint together.
The pipes to be joined are cleaned, inserted into the electrofusion fitting (with a temporary clamp if required) and a voltage, normally 40V is applied for a fixed time depending on the type, and size of the fitting in use. The built in heater coils then melt the inside of the fitting and the outside of the pipe wall, which weld together to form a very strong homogeneous joint. The assembly is then left to cool for a specified time. Then it's done.
In the electro fusion process a heating wire permanently mouled into the fitting gets heated by current at a low voltage. The surrounding material around the wire gets melted and expands due to the warming. The melt starts closing the gap between pipe and fitting, leading to a heat transition to the pipe which also gets heated and melts in the welding zone. The pipe material also expands.
The increasing material expansion between pipe and fitting, which is hindered by the cold zones outside the welding zone, leads to a build up a welding pressure between pipe and fitting and a homogeneous welding connection emerges.
